Position Title: Recruiter

Position Description: Reporting to the Director of Employee Experience, the Recruiter will lead full-lifecycle recruiting efforts, researching, developing and implementing hiring strategies to attract qualified and capable talent to the organization. This includes sourcing, recruiting and onboarding fundraising talent, as well as roles across the organization, to support the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts.

Duties/ or Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops, facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

• Manages internal job description bank and collaborates with managers to identify hiring criteria.

• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards and needs of the organization.

• Manages internal and external career centers and coordinates with Foundation colleagues to contribute to the organization’s LinkedIn profile.

• Assists with job posting and recruiting advertisement processes.

• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates to advance to hiring managers.

• Facilitates interview process, including scheduling and overseeing the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials to ensure consistency and alignment.

• Initiates job offer process in collaboration with the hiring manager and other human resources staff.

• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and organization policies.

• Ensures the adequate reflection of employer brand in all candidate communication. • Attends and participates in job fairs, conferences and recruiting sessions.

• Collaborates with HR colleagues and hiring managers to onboard new employees.

• Updates and maintains internal org charts. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

• Strong sourcing and headhunting skills, particularly for passive candidates.

• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proven success recruiting for senior-level and/or relationship-based roles.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications or related field, required.
• 2-4 years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required. PREFERENCES:
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
• Familiarity with advancement/fundraising.
